Lead Analytics Engineer: Microsoft Fabric & Power BI
Own end-to-end analytics delivery for an active mid-market client engagement on Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. You will take a structured backlog from in-flight to production, spanning inventory, market coverage, customer service, AP/AR, labor utilization, and warehouse operations reporting, while establishing the Lakehouse architecture, deployment pipelines, and data governance foundations that make the platform sustainable.
- Complete Power BI reports across 6 domains from POC/partial → production (Inventory, Market Coverage, Customer Service, AP/AR, Labor Utilization, Warehouse Ops)
- Master customer and market coverage datasets; build ongoing data quality monitoring
- AP/AR views in Fabric Lakehouse; credit card / vendor labeling mechanism (one-time + ongoing)
- Labor utilization live pipeline via Power Automate + SharePoint file pickup
- Push Power BI logic back into Lakehouse views and SQL scripts
- Fabric Workspace governance: Dev/Prod split, deployment pipelines, permission groups
- ADF version control setup; Lakehouse cleanup to match formatting standards
- Production-grade documentation for reports and dataflows (Microsoft Loop)
- Power BI / DAX: complex measures, semantic model design, row-level security
- SQL: Lakehouse views, tables, transformation scripts
- Microsoft Fabric: Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2, workspace management
- Azure Data Factory: pipeline design, version control, scheduling
- Power Automate + SharePoint: file-triggered flows, form integrations
- Source control: Git, Azure DevOps, deployment pipelines
- Microsoft Planner / Loop: backlog ownership and documentation
